Chief reveals Abesim Murder “Richard is not mentally sound" but residents disagree

The chief of Abesim, Barima Kumi Acheaw,  says the suspect in the Abesim Murder case is not mentally sound.

In an interview with the media, the Chief said Richard Appiah is mentally challenge, that’s why he was able to commit such heinous crimes.

According to Barima Kumi Acheaw, once upon a time the 28-years-old boy threatened to burn down his father’s house.

The Chief says in recent times, the boy has been putting up awkward behavior which proves he isn’t mentally stable.

Residents of the town have different thought to that of their Chief as they believe Richard Appiah is very sound though they never expected him to kill his own nephew and other kids.
