The spread of the second phase of the Covid-19 disease has resulted to numerous lives lost considering how deadly the virus has become.
With respect to the second phase of the Covid-19 disease, most advanced countries have implemented several lockdown policies alongside vaccines even though most countries have unexpectedly halted the effective use of the Covi-d19 vaccines as they claimed it had caused more harm than good.
On the other hand, the Covid-19 has also halted lots of privileges most Ghanaians had when it came to traveling , public gatherings like Churches and mosques, parties and just to mention but a few aside taking innocent lives.
Even though the presence of the new vaccine alongside the safety protocols being imposed by the President, some active cases of Covid-19 are still being recorded each day.
However, the good news is that, these active cases have dropped in numbers considering some months past.
With respect to this, most Ghanaians especially Christians were expecting to celebrate this year’s Easter festivity just like they usually did but a recent press statement released has rather called for the halt of all public gatherings and other activities amidst Covid-19 pandemic as Easter approaches.
This however is a very sad news for Ghanaians especially Christians as most churches would’ve preferred a full house and others as we remember and celebrate Christ Jesus on this momentous day.
