NDC cannot be denied right to protest - Tamakloe

A member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) legal team, Godwin Edudzi Tamakloe , says the NDC cannot be denied it right to protest against the 2020 general elections.

A statement issued yesterday, December 23, 2020 the Accra Regional Police Commander indicated that is has secured a restraining order against the NDC, banning it from embarking on further protest and demonstration in Accra.

Mr Tamakloe with the media said, the party NDC is yet to be served with the said restraining order and as such sees no reason why it should panic.

He said the party has the right to protest and as such does not see why any institution will claim it wants to ban them from doing so.
