Minority calls for immediate IGP's dismissal



The Minority spokeperson on Defence and Interior in parliament , James Agalga, has call for an immediate dismissal of the Inspector General of Police, James Oppong Boanuh over election- related deaths.

According to the minority the IGP should resign because he was warned by the minority that if anything should go wrong he will be held responsible for any breaches and now 5 people have been killed by his men who targeted innocent citizens.


He said the IGP assured that he being the chairman of the National Election Security task Force he would protect the safety and security of the Ghanaian citizens but if he fail he will resign.

During an interview with the press, Mr. Agalga told the IGP to the right thing by resigning referring to the shooting incident in the Techiman south constituency where five people died.
