Mfantseman MP’s Wife Retains The Seat For Her Late Husband

 


 The Parliamentary candidate of Mfantseman Constituency for NPP in the Central Region, Mrs. Ophelia Mensah Hayford has won in the 2020 polls to retain the seat by succeeding her late husband Mr. Ekow Kwansah.


 Mr. Ekow Kwansa the late Parliamentary Candidate for the mfansteman constituency was shot by some armed robbers who killed him while on campaign duties.


But the good news for the NPP is that Mrs. Mensah Hayford makes history by winning a second term for the party at Mfantseman Constituency with 36,021 against her competitor; Mr. James Odziifo Essoun who pulled 32,438 votes.
